Os 10 melhores shows do Rock in Rio 4

Fazer lista de melhores é uma das tarefas mais inglórias para qualquer jornalista. Pois ele nunca vai acertar em 100%. Todo mundo terá a sua e o cronistaque vos escreve será execrado pelos fãs.
1. Coldplay
Tinha tudo para ser uma decepção. Os integrantes do Coldplay anunciaram, dias antes de sua apresentação no Rock in Rio, que o set lits daria preferência às canções do novo disco, "Myloto Xyloto". O que é um risco grande, pois nem todos ainda conhecem o repertório. Mas o que se viu na Cidade do Rock foi uma catarse: o público aceitou, de braços abertos, os novos hits e cantou com entusiasmo os clássicos. Resultado? Um show empolgante, do início ao fim. Sem dúvida, o melhor desta edição.
2. Stevie Wonder
Música, pura e simples. Sem palcos mirabolantes ou explosões. Assim foi Stevie Wonder, em um dos shows mais perfeitos deste Rock in Rio. Foi uma aula de música negra, com muito groove e suingue em suas músicas. Ganhou ainda mais o público ao tocar “Garota de Ipanema”, em português. Show inesquecível e entra para a galeria dos melhores de todas as edições.
3. Slipknot
Foi de arrepiar. Seja de emoção ou até mesmo medo de ver os mascarados do Slipknot no palco do Rock in Rio. Fizeram uma apresentação apoteótica, que hipnotizou a plateia no dia do metal. Foi impossivel ficar parado na Cidade do Rock. Os efeitos pirotécnicos ajudaram muito a empolgar a galera. E o final.. o que falar da bateria de Joey Jordison levantando em uma plataforma giratória, deixando o baterista quase de ponta-cabeça? Inesquecível.
4. Metallica
Falar que o Metallica fez um baita show é chover no molhado, especialmente para quem é fã. Sem dúvida, eles fizeram a lição de casa direitinho. Mas o diferencial nesta apresentação foi ver a empolgação dos caras no palco. Era nítida a felicidade de eles tocararem para 100 mil pessoas. Outro ponto bacana foi a homenagem a Cliff Burton, primeiro baixista da banda, que faleceu na década de 80.
5. Ivete Sangalo
Os xiitas do rock não se conformaram com nomes como Ivete Sangalo e Claudia Leitte no line up do festival. Se a segunda tentou mostrar uma faceta que não era sua (de que pode ser do rock), a primeira decretou que iria tocar seu axé e ponto final. Decisão mais do que sábia. Sem falsidade, Ivete fez seu show e empolgou a plateia na Cidade do Rock. Ou melhor, por 1 hora foi a Cidade da Micareta. Goste-se ou não, foi um baita show.
6. Katy Perry
Diversão, pura e simples. Assim foi o show de Katy Perry na Cidade do Rock. O show da moça foi um desfile de hits que não param de tocar nas rádios, como “Teenage Dream”, "Last Friday Night" e "Fireworks". E, claro, teve muita simpatia e a consagração do desconhecido Julio de Sorocaba, o sortudo que ganhou um beijo da cantora antes de "I Kissed a Girl".
7. Elton John
Tecnicamente, Elton John mostrou o porquê de ainda ter uma legião de fãs. Em 1h30 de apresentação, desfilou somente sucessos, praticamente passando por toda as fases de sua carreira. Mostrou toda sua técnica no piano ao executar com maestria clássicos como “Don't Let The Sun Go Down on Me” e “Skyline Pigeon”. Unico ponto negativo vai para a organização, que deixou Elton entre os shows de Katy Perry e Rihanna, gerando vaias dos fãs das jovens cantoras. Que, diga-se, perderam uma excelente oportunidade de aprender um pouco mais de música.
8. Guns N' Roses
O último show do Rock in Rio. Tensão. Axl Rose perdeu o vôo para o Brasil. Ele vem? Vai atrasar quanto tempo? E aí começa a chover na Cidade do Rock. Tudo para dar errado. Mas o Guns N' Roses encarou a água e fez um belo show, mesmo com o Axl de 2011 sendo um arremedo do Axl do auge da carreira. Porém, mesmo assim, coloca muita bandinha que tocou no festival no chinelo.
9. Red Hot Chili Peppers
Não, eles não estão aqui porque usaram camisetas com a imagem do filho da atriz Cissa Guimarães, durante a apresentação no Rock in Rio. O Red Hot Chili Peppers figura nesta lista pois fez um show redondo, mesclando seus grandes hits com o material recente, do álbum "I'm With You". O ponto alto foi ver que mesmo com mais de 20 anos de estrada Anthony Kiedis, Chad Smith, Flea e o novato Josh Klinghoffer continuam em plena forma.
10. Maroon 5
Sem dúvida um dos shows mais empolgantes da quarta edição do Rock in Rio. O Maroon 5 colocou a Cidade do Rock para dançar com seus hits, como em “Sunday Morning”, por exemplo. Com “This Love”, a plateia foi ao êxtase. “She Will be Loved” emocionou no encerramento. Além disso, o carisma do vocalista Adam Levine deixou as menininhas em polvorosa, provando que uma boyband pode sim fazer música de verdade.

1. Ke$ha
A prova cabal que os Estados Unidos produz muita porcaria no cenário musical. Ke$ha, no estúdio, até que dá pra engolir, com seus hits pegajosos de academia. Mas ao vivo é um desastre. Tentou uma pose de rockstar, quebrando guitarras, bebendo sangue de mentirinha, mas não passou de uma fanfarrona desafinada. Sem contar o uso do playback, prática que deveria ser abolida por enganar o consumidor. Esta não merecia nem o Palco Sunset...
2. Gloria
O único atenuante que podemos falar sobre o Glória é que tocar no dia do metal é muito complicado. Pois esses fãs são xiitas, fanáticos aos extremo e dificilmente conseguem aceitar novidades. O passado emo da banda paulista prejudicou ainda mais a relação com o público. Mesmo assim, eles fizeram uma apresentação muito ruim, especialmente quanto tocaram seu próprio repertório.
3. Rihanna
Showzinho bem do previsível esse da ex-namorada do Chris Brown. Muita pirotecnia no palco e uma cantora que parecia estar um pouco, digamos, "altinha". Não mostrou muita simpatia com seus fãs, talvez até por um esgotamento físico, já que vinha de duas semanas de apresentações pelo Brasil. Muito abaixo do esperado.
4. Snow Patrol
Olha, não foi o pior show do Rock in Rio. Mas foi o que deu mais sono, com toda a certeza. É o típico caso de banda que no estúdio consegue fazer um trabalho bacana, mas que ao vivo decepciona. Não à toa ganhou o apelido de Slow Patrol, em alusão a falta de velocidade no som do grupo. Fraquinho, fraquinho...
5. Claudia Leitte
De verdade, nada tenho contra ter outros estilos musicais em um festival chamado Rock in Rio. Pois desde 1985 é assim. O erro é o evento ter rock no nome. Mas isso é outra história. Claudia Leitte, uma das rainhas do axé, estar no palco Mundo não me espanta. O que é estranho é alguém que vende milhões de discos e tem milhares de fãs tentar se transformar em 1h de show em algo que não é. Nada mais anti rock and roll.
6. Maná
Bacana a integração entre os países e os estilos no Rock in Rio. Nada contra o México. Mas colocar o Maná no palco Mundo foi de um exagero sem tamanho. Tudo bem que os Medinas querem levar o festival para lá, mas submeter o público brasileiro a um show sonolento e sem graça foi um castigo grande.
7. Legião Urbana
Outra "homenagem" para esquecer. A Legião Urbana também tem seu papel na história da música, mas não precisava ocupar o palco Mundo. Ainda mais em um dia em que Joss Stone foi jogada para o Sunset. Enfim, apresentação com convidados, como Dinho Ouro Preto e Rogério Flausino, além dos acordes da Orquestra Sinfônica Brasileira. E o pior: ainda repetiram uma música, "Será". Em um setlist de oito músicas.
8. Paralamas do Sucesso + Titãs
São duas das bandas mais importantes da história da música brasileira. Isso ninguém discute. Mas o combinado Paralamas e Titãs foi bem chatinho, com direito a Milton Nascimento "assassinando" "Love Of My Life", do Queen, em uma suposta homenagem aos 26 anos do festival. Péssima escolha para a abertura do Rock in Rio.
9. Lenny Kravitz
Único expoente genuinamente do rock and roll na noite em que se apresentou, Lenny Kravitz deixou no público a sensação que o pop de Shakira e o axé de Ivete Sangalo são mais legais. Pois ele fez um show sonolento, onde apostou em músicas com solos intermináveis de teclado e dos metais. Foi quase de dormir...
10. Janelle Monáe
Foi um show tecnicamente ruim? Não. Mas então por que Janelle Monáe está na lista dos piores shows do Rock in Rio. Simples: após as apresentações em janeiro, quando abriu para Amy Winehouse, criou-se uma expectativa enorme pela performance dela na Cidade do Rock. Porém, o que se viu foi uma exata repetição do que aconteceu menos de nove meses atrás. Poderia ter tido o cuidado de mudar alguma coisa, né?

O site Mediatraffic, que compila dados dos principais charts do mundo, publicou a lista dos discos mais vendidos em todo o mundo no período entre 17 de janeiro de 2009 e 09 de janeiro de 2010.
Obviamente, devido à comoção e a subsequente corrida às lojas após a sua morte, Michael Jackson é o artista com maior número de títulos na lista (8), enquanto o fenômeno Susan Boyle abocanhou o primeiro lugar. Outra curiosidade é a inclusão dos dois discos com as trilhas dos filmes da saga Crepúsculo - além de fazer os jovens devorarem livros, parece que também estão apresentando a música para uma grande parcela da juventude -, e a surpreendente e muito bem-vinda aparição dos Beatles entre os quarenta discos mais vendidos de 2009.

'O discurso do Rei' vence filme, ator, diretor e roteiro original no Oscar
Natalie Portman garantiu estatueta de atriz, e coprodução brasileira perdeu.
O filme "O discurso do rei" foi o grande vencedor da 83ª edição do Oscar, realizada na noite deste domingo (27) em Los Angeles. Indicado em 12 categorias, o longa-metragem de Tom Hooper saiu da cerimônia com quatro das principais estatuetas, incluindo a mais cobiçada: melhor filme, ator, diretor e roteiro original.
Principal rival de "O discurso do Rei" na premiação, "A rede social", de David Fincher, recebeu três troféus: roteiro adaptado, trilha original e edição.
Como já se esperava, "A origem", de Christopher Nolan, dominou os chamados prêmios técnicos da noite, levando os Oscars de efeitos visuais, fotografia, mixagem e edição de som. O longa também estava indicado ao prêmio de melhor filme e direção, entre outros.
Concorrendo na categoria documentário, a coprodução Brasil/Reino Unido "Lixo extraordinário", sobre o trabalho do artista Vik Muniz com catadores do aterro do Gramacho, não levou a estatueta. O troféu ficou com "Trabalho interno" ("Inside job", no original), que joga luz sobre a grave crise financeira dos Estados Unidos de 2008.
Em entrevista ao G1, minutos após o anúncio do resultado, o codiretor João Jardim conformou-se com a derrota. "Nosso filme chegou muito longe, a gente sabia que era difícil bater 'Inside job' pela sua relevância para os americanos."
"O discurso do rei" também garantiu o prêmio de melhor ator a Colin Firth, por sua interpretação do rei gago George VI. Aparentemente emocionado, o ator britânico não gaguejou em seu discurso de agradecimento, mas brincou: "Estou com um mal-estar no estômago, uma coisa que parece que está dançando na minha barriga. Talvez isso seja problemático, se isso descer para minhas pernas e eu ainda estiver no palco."
As categorias de ator e atriz coadjuvantes foram ambas de "O vencedor", para Melissa Leo e Christian Bale.
A animação "Toy story 3", outra que concorria à estatueta de melhor filme, venceu o prêmio de longa-metragem animado e também canção original, por "We belong together". A versão de Tim Burton para "Alice no País das Maravilhas" também levou dois: figurino e direção de arte.

Grammy 2011 - Principais Vencedores
O Grammy 2011, realizado na noite de domingo (13/02), em Los Angeles, Estados Unidos, apresentou surpresas nas principais categorias e confirmou apostas em outras.
Os dois destaques ficaram por conta do Arcade Fire, que levou o prêmio de álbum do ano na 53ª edição da premiação. Graças ao disco "The Suburbs", o gramofone dourado mais disputado da noite ficou com os canadenses.
Já o Lady Antebellum foi o maior vencedor. Duas das principais categorias, canção do ano e gravação do ano, ficaram com o grupo de Nashville. Eles faturaram ainda os prêmios de melhor performance country de um duo ou grupo com vocais e melhor canção country, tudo graças ao hit "Need You Now". Pior para Eminem, que liderava as indicações, com dez. O rapper levou apenas os prêmios de melhor álbum e melhor performance solo, todos na categoria rap.
Lady Gaga, com uma chegada ao Staples Center pra lá de esquisita (veja fotos abaixo), ficou com os prêmios de álbum pop ("The Fame Monster") e performance pop feminina ("Bad Romance"). No palco ela apresentou, pela primeira vez, sua nova música, "Born This Way".
Outro show esperado foi de Rihanna ao lado de Eminem. Eles cantaram o hit "Love the Way You Lie".
